“Ms. Flautt's adaptation of A Christmas Carol is thoughtful, elegant and a challenging showcase for a troupe of gifted, versatile actors. It is a very exciting ensemble piece and, is quite unique in the sense that it includes plot points of the novel not in other versions, and all the language in the play is essentially taken directly from Mr. Dickens' work which makes the piece very true to the author's intent. Featuring a flexible cast become storytellers allowing the audience to feel as if someone is telling them "A ghost story of Christmas". Ms. Flautt also had the creative foresight to commission the arrangement of several Mozart pieces and original compositions using a 5-piece orchestra, thus enriching, and underscoring the action onstage much like you would a film.”

“The amazing support I received from the arts faculty and program at CPA under the leadership of Artistic Director Paula Flautt had a huge influence on my life and career. Not only did I learn invaluable skills, I was encouraged to explore and pursue my passions and my dreams which led me to become the first CPA student to perform on Broadway (I’m sure I won’t be the last). I have also had the privilege of producing three different professional productions of Paula's riveting adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" to much critical acclaim.
